Devara Box Office Collection Day 6: Jr NTR’s Film Breaks Records, Faces Competition

Jr NTR’s Devara Part 1 is minting money at the Indian box office, and here’s how it has crossed over the ₹200 crore mark in just six days. Released on 2nd October, the film went onto open to a massive response across multiple languages – Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada—raking in a whopping ₹82.5 crores on the opening day.

The Telugu version of the film appears rather strong, yet it was evident that the Hindi version also promised much with wide reachability across regions. Still, there has been a dip in viewership over the weekend as collections settled at ₹38 crore on Saturday and ₹39 crore on Sunday.

It continued its slide on Monday with the slipping 68% earnings to ₹12.75 crore. The film bounced back on Wednesday, October 2, which fell on Gandhi Jayanti-a national holiday-bringing ₹20.50 crore and taking the film over ₹200 crore.

Impressive Cast and Direction Fuel Success

Clearly, the box office has well demonstrated that it was the star power of Jr NTR coupled with Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, which sure meant a lot to the popularity of the movie. Doubtless, such massive fan following of the trio must have contributed to this film’s massive success.

Directed by Koratala Siva, whose Mirchi and Janatha Garage were always a treat for the eyes, Devara Part 1 promises a superlative performance and an emotionally charged script. Koratala Siva’s success with films meant that anticipation and popular demand already surrounded Devara Part 1.

Soundtracks Hit the Right Chords

The other prime reason the film has clicked with the audience is its music, which has been composed by the iconic MM Keeravani. All his compositions have gained an immense popularity and generated interest in viewing the film across theatres in the country.Competition is always at its knees but the film seems to be doing just fine and staying strong.

Devara Part 1 continues to do well at the box office despite the big releases such as Joker 2 and Stree 2, and with its good opening and also continuing to do well, this film is poised to stay atop at the box office.

Devara Part 1 has firmly cemented its position as one of the biggest grossers at the box office thanks to Jr NTR, Koratala Siva, and MM Keeravani, no particular order. The fact that a film reaches ₹200 crore within six days is clear cut proof of the mass appeal and more than erects a firm foundation for further success amidst growing competitions.
